Orlando has teamed up with internationally renowned Australian chef, Guy Turland to honour the quintessential Australian home dinner party - Orlando presents Australiana Nostalgia.

Working closely with Orlando’s winemaker Ben Thoman, Turland has reimagined classic Australian dishes to pair with these award-winning wines, adding a fine dining touch to the uniquely Australian table setting. Available to replicate at home, Australiana Nostalgia taps into the fondness of an inherited and well-thumbed cookbook, and reinvigorates it with contemporary flair for your next home dinner party.

Orlando’s Hilary Chardonnay in its nutty oak finish elevates Turland’s wild mushroom vol-au-vent. The staple hors d'oeuvre and platter ruler of yesteryear, is made with fluffy pastry and a reggiano and black truffle infusion, all topped with toasted walnuts.

A whole-roasted and stuffed apricot chicken, served with an apricot nectar sauce pairs perfectly with the ripe cherry complexity and generations deep Barossa sourced, Cellar 13 Grenache. The poultry staple was a must in 1970s home entertaining, and enters a flavoursome new modernised era with Turland.
